The NFL unveiled a new feature providing a look at the comprehensive operation happening behind-the-scenes on game day to provide players with the best possible medical care. At each NFL game, there is a team of more than 30 medical professionals working to ensure the health and safety of the athletes.

Told through the lens of two unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants (UNCs) and an independent certified athletic trainer (ATC), as well as NFL Chief Medical Officer Allen Sills and Executive Vice President overseeing Player Health and Safety Jeff Miller, this feature highlights the league’s continued focus on player health and the identification, diagnosis and treatment of head, neck and spine injuries.
