Do team physicians travel to all of the games?

Although there can be more, at least one Orthopedic and one Medical Physician (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine)  per team are on the sidelines of every game, home and away.  Many of these physicians are trained specifically in Sports Medicine. The number of physicians traveling to away games is ultimately at the discretion of the head team physician and the team’s management.
